Volunteer Positions
A large team of volunteers is needed to help provide services to residents such as peer counseling, transportation to doctors, schools, job interviews, and court appearances. We also need volunteers to assist with fund-raisers.
Currently desired:
- Client Advocate – Provides crisis intervention, emotional support, transportation and other non-professional services to adult clients and their children.
- Court Advocate – provide transportation or emotional support to client during legal proceedings.
- Huggers and Rockers - play with and supervise children during support group meetings, classes and other activities.
- Bible Study Teachers – to teach studies from renowned teachers such as Joyce Meyer, Beth Moore, T.D. Jakes, Kay Arthur, and Neil Anderson, just to name a few.
NOTE: Above positions require a 24-hour volunteer training course.
- Administrative Assistant – provide clerical assistance to staff as requeted, assist with bulk mailings (stuffing envelopes, sorting, labeling envelopes, etc.),answers phones, helps with filing, typing and regular office duties as needed.
